OFFICIAL CONVENTION CALL

To: Delegates and Alternates of Senate District 55

Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota and request of the State Party Executive Committee, this is the Official Call for the Senate District 55 Republican Party Basic Political Organizational Unit (BPOU) convention. The Senate District 55 Republican Party is hereby called to convene at:

Tuesday February 25th, 2025
Commencing at 7:00 PM

Registration opens at 6:30PM and commencing at 7:00 PM. 6:00 opportunity for all interested candidates to meet with the Nominating Committee.

The Senate District 55 Organizing Convention shall be composed of the delegates and alternates elected at the 2024 precinct caucuses designated as lying within the boundaries of the Senate District 55.

The Convention shall be held for the purpose of:

  1. Electing officers: SD55 Chair, SD55A Chair, SD55B Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and
    Directors 55A 4, 55B 4
  2. Electing Delegates and Alternates to the State Central convention
  3. Other business as may properly come before this convention

Anyone seeking to run for an officer position (and/or vice chair) should appear before the Nominating Committee. Anyone wishing to run for State Central delegates and alternates should schedule a call or meet with the nominations committee as well. For further information regarding the nominations committee or to schedule an appearance before the committee, please contact Brian Ewoldt, mnsd55chair@gmail.com or 763-458-7304. As a courtesy to the Nominating Committee, it is asked that interested candidates contact us before February 18th, 2023.

There is no registration fee. If you would be so kind to donate either at the convention or with this link or QR Code. With the Minnesota PCR Program you can now donate 75 a person or 150 a couple and get the state pay you back.
